Dayanand Education Institution

DBPG College is managed by Dayanand Education Instituion, based in Kanpur. The foundation was formed in the memory of Late Dr Virendra Swaroop, an eminent educationist and Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council. Its registered office is located at 15/96, Civil Lines, Kanpur.

The institution runs several reputed educational institutions in Kanpur, Unnao, Rae Bareli and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh and in Dehradun in Uttarakhand. Today several thousand students are being educated at these colleges in Arts, Science, Commerce, Management, Computer Science and other streams.

The foundation runs a group of schools and colleges from primary to intermediate level. These schools are affiliated to Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad, Allahabad, Indian Council for Secondary Education Board, New Delhi, and Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Several thousand students are studying in these schools. It is a matter of pride that several students studying in these schools are holding positions in merit list in the examinations conducted by Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Allahabad.
