Dayanand Bachhrawan Post Graduate College is a self-financed institution of higher learning at Bachhrawan of Rae Bareli district in Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1981-82, the college is imparting education to around 6,000 students through 10 courses at under graduation and postgraduation levels. The college has 17 Departments under Arts, Commerce and Science Faculties and a Department of Teacher Education.


Dayanand Bachhrawan Post Graduate College came into being through the efforts of Munshi Chandrika Prasad ‘Guruji’, the reputed Freedom Fighter, former Member of Legislative Assembly and dedicated social worker. Guruji was all for educational uplift of the area and was instrumental for establishing an intermediate college in the town. With the cooperation and backing of the local populace, he took vow in 1976-1977 to establish this college.

The college runs B.Ed & M.Ed classes. The Teacher Education classes are run from three blocks designated as A, B and C blocks. Each block has sufficient number of rooms and laboratories as per NCTE norms.
